This matte black valve body is a replacement component for KES shower systems XB6242 and XB6205. It features a two-function design with a rotary diverter cartridge and a pressure-balancing valve to maintain consistent water temperature. The unit includes pre-installed check valves on both the hot and cold water inlets to prevent backflow.
The valve body is cUPC certified and connects via NPT 1/2-inch female threads. It is designed for installation onto 2×4-inch wall studs using screw mounts. For deeper wall installations, a 1-inch extension kit is available from KES.
