This two-function bathroom mixing valve body is designed for shower systems that include both a shower head and a bathtub spout. The cast body features internal NPT 1/2-inch threads and includes a pressure-balancing valve to maintain consistent water temperature during pressure fluctuations. A rotary diverter cartridge allows for switching between the two water outlets.
The valve is equipped with pre-installed check valves on both the hot and cold water inlets to prevent backflow. It is cUPC certified and finished in matte black. The unit is designed for installation on standard 2×4-inch wall studs and is compatible with KES shower system XB6241. For deeper wall installations, a 1-inch extension kit is available separately.
