While developing the powerful cleaning function of the DP300 showerhead, our R&D team encountered an unexpected challenge: the high-pressure cleaning mode introduced a potential safety risk.
The KES engineering team recognized a critical issue—if users forgot to manually switch back to shower mode after deep cleaning, the sudden blast of high-pressure water upon next use could:
• Damage walls or ceilings
• Startle users
• Pose risks to children or seniors
This directly contradicted our mission to deliver “worry-free comfort.”
A problem demanded solving. Powerful cleaning wasn’t enough. We needed an “automatic safeguard”—ensuring every shower starts safely.

It automatically returns the shower head to normal shower mode after the high-pressure cleaning mode is used, so the next person is never hit by an unexpected blast of high-pressure water. It removes the need to remember to switch modes back.
If a shower head is left in a concentrated high-pressure mode, the next use can startle a user, spray forcefully at a child or older adult, or splash the walls. Auto-Reset defaults the head back to a gentle shower spray between uses.
No. All US shower heads meter to the same 2.5 GPM federal cap regardless of mode; the cleaning mode concentrates that fixed flow into a narrower, more forceful pattern, not a larger volume.
